White Gum Wool is a fine wool that is within the superfine merino range at 17-micron, Saxon merino wool. This is the calibre of wool used in the finest of Italian mens suiting, and gives an amazing softness and handle to the yarn.

Aran or 10ply
This wist-on-twist merino makes WGW yarns less susceptible to pilling by using the tighter, more robust twist-on-twist style of plying. A great yarn for beanies, scarves and blankets, it knits up quickly and is very warm and light as a knitted fabric.
