This is a smooth medium weight strong 55% linen 45% cotton fabric.

Suitable for sewing cushions, runners, table covers and mats, bags, bag linings, purses, pouches, and so on.

It is also an excellent fabric for hand stitching, and I use it for Sashiko stitching.

The firm smooth surface makes it agoodmachine embroidery fabric.

It is machine wash and dry, but will gain a little texture when washed so take it out of the dryer a little damp and iron it, if you want thatreally smooth surface back. Colourfast and durable.
