What is Sakizome-momen?

Sakizome-momenfabric is adyed yarn cotton fabric. Dyed yarn fabrics are made from yarn (threads) that have been dyed before the fabric is woven. This gives itinteresting colour variations, plus it means the colour is embedded right through the cloth, not only on the surface.
