White Crackle develops a fine crackle pattern over a white gloss surface following a proper Raku Firing. Due to the unpredictable nature of this firing technique, results will vary with every firing.

To apply, shake for 5-6 seconds, stir well and apply 2 coats to bisqueware. Allow to dry thoroughly and fire to cone 06 (1850F, 1010C). Reduce in your choice of combustible materials. Thinner coats tend to produce greater metallic effects, if you are not getting the desired metallic results you can adjust your glaze application. Actual fired results will vary according to choice of clay body, glaze application thickness, glaze fire temperature, combustible materials, reduction process, kiln, etc. After ware has completely cooled use water and a scouring pad to clean; cleaning will improve the luster and colors in the fired finish.
