This is a woven cotton fabric printed with a traditional shibori pattern called Kanoko because of it’s distinctive small dotted pattern. Kanoko means “pattern of dappled white spots”. It is suitable for home decor sewing projects and an excellent fabric to add to your sashiko boro or visible mending project. It is a good accent to the indigo and navy blues, and a good weight for mending. You could also use it for quilting and some clothing patterns.

• Wash and dry on low temperatures, remove from dryer promptly
• To order the length you need from fabrics on the bolt,put 1 in the unit ordering boxfor each10″ of length of fabric you want (example 2 will be 20″, 4 will be 40″ and so on). The fabricwill be cut from the bolt and sent to you in one continuous piece when your order is received.
• NOTE: this is a printed fabric. A true shibori Kanoko pattern would be made by wrapping each little spot of cloth tightly by hand before dying the cloth.
