Mayco Elements Glaze – Cone 06-Cone 10

Cone 06 oxidation (first photo): Caribbean Blue is a glossy, ocean blue glaze that breaks a darker blue. Semi-Transparent at 3 coats. Dinnerware safe.

Cone 6 oxidation (second photo): Color turns teal. Enhanced mobility. Surface issues may occur. Not dinnerware safe.

Apply 2-3 coats, allowing surface to dry in-between coats. When applying to a large surface, we recommend a broad, soft fan brush. As movement and flowing are characteristics of this glaze, taper off toward the bottom of the ware to prevent glaze running of the piece onto kiln shelves. Not overglaze compatible.
