Mayco Elements Glaze – Cone 06-Cone 10

Cone06 oxidation (first photo): Burnished Steel is a matte, metallic dark gray glaze. Not dinnerware safe.

Cone 6 oxidation (second photo): Color changes to a metallic black that breaks over texture and pools a flat metallic gray. Enhanced mobility. Surface issues may occur. Not dinnerware safe.

Apply 2-3 coats, allowing surface to dry in-between coats. When applying to a large surface, we recommend a broad, soft fan brush. As movement and flowing are characteristics of this glaze, taper off toward the bottom of the ware to prevent glaze running of the piece onto kiln shelves.
