22 pairs of stitches and 34 rounds = 4 / 10 cm in double knitting on larger needle

Gauge is measured after blocking. To save time and ensure accurate measurements, take time to check gauge.

US 5 (3.75mm) 16″ circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge
US 3 (3.25mm) 16″ circular needle, if using tubular cast-on

If knitting the hat, you will also need US 5 (3.75mm) DPNs
